I received your letter of the 19th Inst. enclosing your account current and receipts accompanying for monies paid on account of the Fortifications at Ocra-cock.— Before I can direct an examination it will be proper that that Mr. Blounts account stating the particulars of the work done by him, the amount received &c. be sent forward with your certificate annexed of the work having been performed, agreeably to the letter of the Secretary of War to you of the 30th October 1795. I am &c.
