The several sums of money received by you on ac-
count of Lieutt Colt John Caldwell, Joseph Lewis & Patrick
Brown, being yet unaccounted for, altho they have been wri-
tten requesting them to forward such vouchers as would en-
able me to close their accounts — I have to request that
you will use your influence with those Gentlemen to preva-
il on them to send to this Office the necessary vouchers to sepa-
rate them from the charges on the books thereof. Should th[is]
not be done prior to the first week in January next their
names will appear on the abstract of delinquents to be laid
before Congress at that time.
