I have received your letter of the 12 Inst, and as Cooper is a likely young fellow I have settled the difference with him by reenlisting him. —
I herewith transmit a Recruiting Account and vouchers, together with an account Current, by which it will appear that the money with which I was charged for the Recruiting Service has been expended by Lieut. Dyson, and that there is a balance of twenty six Dollars due to me. —
