Document 1797Money advanced to Vincent for pay of Maryland battalion of militia infantry and a company of Maryland militia artillery called up to suppress an insurrection in the Western counties of Pennsylvania. The money that was issued to said militias must be refunded to War Office since no vouchers were transmitted to Treasurer to exonerate Vincent. Col. Nevill was furnished with corrections to attend to final settlement of said expedition. Nevill will visit Office on the 15th by which time Simmons hoped vouchers will be furnished by Vincent.
