You stand charged with a sum of money in an abstract of monies advanced by Presley Nevill Pay master general to the militia called out to suppress an insurrection in the western counties of Pennsylvania in the year 1794, pursuant to a warrant, in your favor for the Pay of a Troop of Virginia Militia Cavalry commanded by yourself, and as no vouchers have hitherto been transmitted to this Office to exonerate you from this advance I have to request your immediate attention in transmitting such as you actually possess or can procure shortly, properly stated and in case of a deficiency to refund the balance to the Treasurer of the United States.
