Sir,
Your letter of the 14. came to hand this morning but too late to answer by this days mail.
Be pleased to inform me of the quantity of Clothing you suppose will be necessary for all the recruits you may obtain previous to the commencement of the Winter, and it shall be forwarded.
Money for the pay of your recruits will be remitted to you by the next post.
