there is included one of Daniel Depadjure in which he
credits the sum of Five hundred dollars received for a b
on Joshua Smith; as I presume that sum was originally
advanced to Mr Smith [strikethrough: and presumed] from the Treasury Dep
ment, he having no account on the books of this Office
I have to request in that case that I may be furnished w
the necessary certificate for transfering that sum to th
