I duly received your letter of the 2d Instt enclosing receipt roll of the detachment under your command for Augt and Muster and Pay Rolls of the same detachment for September the amount of the former Three hundred fifty six dollars and thirty five Cents will be passed to your Credit on the Books this Office, the amount of the latter Three hundred sixty two dollars and thirty two Cents you will receive as usual from Nicholas Fish Esqr Supervisor New York on giving him the necessary receipts holding yourself accountable.
Agreeably to your request you will receive herewith some blank receipt Rolls.
