Hawkins notes the he is satisfied with the work of Rogers. Some men in Hancock County wounded an Indian Chief on Indian land up the Little River. Mentions experiment of hiring a farmer to conduct introduction to the plough, farming. There has been successful raising of corn, although the season has been too dry.
