Sir,
Pursuant to the Requisition in your letter of the 20th Inst. I forward by this Day's Post, the account of Expenditures for mounting Cannon, &c. As your letter is silent on the Subject, & as the remittances for fortification & for mounting Cannon, were received thro' different Channels with directions to keep the account of the Expenditures distinct; I am at a loss whether those accounts are to be forwarded in like manner, & will thank you for Information on the Subject —
