you stand charged with is forty three dollars and fifty fi[ve]
Cents received by you of Edward Carrington Esq. Superviso[r]
Richmond [p]receipt 4th April 1796 being for the Pay of Serge[ant]
Robert Heages and the men under his command at Fort [undecipherable]
for January & February 1796 for the payment of which you ha[ve]
sent on Vouchers, I have therefore to request you will imm[edi]
ately transmit the receipts of said men to exonerate [you]
on the Books of this Office for the above amount.
