IN pursuance of the authority of your letter of the 11 day of August 1797. I have drawn a duplicate sett of bills of Exchange on you, No. 159 dated at D'troit the 21 day of September 1797 at ten days sight, in favour of Lieut James Sterrett or order for the sum of One thousand, one hundred and twelve dollars, on account of the pay of the army up to the 30 September 1797.
