I have your letter of the 20th inst. have also be pleased to write incesantly to the reason who has the care of the anchors ordered for the Frigate at Baltimore, that the same be forwarded as the tin the armament here are ready, and if not yet completed to more one from Portsmouth. As the Frigate cannot get near any of the shores she is of course, Shot at will. Every mothers aspired to much danger.
I thank you for your attentions and exertions to alert the reach on board the Frigate U.S. and request you to exercise your judgement and discretion in ordering such experience as you may conceive to be needful and necessary for the Public Interest.
