Since writing you last under date the 7th Inst I have had your account current and Vouchers examined & finds a number of errors therein to amount of thirty seven dollars and seven Cents which with the difference in Commission leave a balance due by you to the United States of Three hundred eighty eight dollars and fifteen Cents as pr account annexed which sum you will be pleased to pay to Edward Carrington Supervisor at Richmond Virginia taking his receipts holding him accountable to the Department of War for the same, one of which you will please forward to this Office to enable me to make the necessary entries to close your account on the Books thereof.
