Tinsley, & is well recommended, from he came into the [undecipherable] on an emergency without much prospect of receiving any compensa- tion only I promised him my recommendation to obtain some reward for his services & if there should be a vacancy to give him my interest he is useful & necessary for the out door [undecipherable] beating & warming the [undecipherable] which is very frequently to be done attend[undecipherable] to the Blacksmith [undecipherable] & any other [undecipherable] which requires his attention. he also writes a tolerable hand & may become a useful person.
