I Certify that there is due to a Detachment of the Corps of Artillerists & Engineers stationed at Governors Island the sum of three Hundred sixty Dollars and forty one Cents being for the pay and subsistence of Captain Frederick Frye commanding the said Detachment, the pay subsistence, and forage of Samuel Aberne Surgeon's Mate, and the pay of the non Commissioned Officers and privates of the said Detachment for the Month of August 1797 which sum is to be transmitted to Nicholas Fish Supervisor New York and to be by him paid to the said Capt Frye who is to be held accountable for the due application thereof.
