Dear Friend
Expecting to find you I Rode over to the war office this morning, am sorry to hear of your indisposition last week, and hope you are better. was in town on Saturday last and could not find you on account of the removal of the war office of which I was before unacquainted, I wou’d take it as a favour if you wou’d be so kind as to lend me your Ship builder Repository for a short time of which I will take particular care. I expect my father will be in town tommorrow or next day and will send our man to your house for it.
With due Respect & Esteem I am your Friend
