In pursuance of a Resolution of the House of Representatives of the 5 March 1797 I am required to lay before them within the first Week in January next an abstract of the names &c. of all those who stand charged with monies at this Office. In order to prevent your name from appearing as a delinquent I have to request you will speedily account for the monies received by you either by producing the necessary Vouchers or refunding the balance to the Treasurer of the United States.
