I have received your letter to Capt Blackburn of the 17th Instant, informing him that the Pay for July had been Transmitted to Colo Carrington, on it's arri=val shall be applied as directed — the Pay for June received on the 26th Instant — you have here Inclosed Receipt Rolls for the same — the Soldier (Gilchurst) attended to in the last Muster. was attested by Capt Muff a reference to his recruiting Acct will probably dis=cover the period [undecipherable] to serve —
I have in my hands 12 Dollars, the pay of three Soldiers, who have been discharged. They are at work in the neighbourhood of the Post, when they apply (which will be soon) they Shall be paid and their receipts transmitted.
