Pursuant to a Resolution of the Ho[use of] Representatives of 3 March 1797 I am required to lay before them within the first Week in January next an abstract of the names &c. of all those who stand charged with monies at this Office. In order that your name may not ap-pear as a delinquent I request you will as speedily as possible account for the monies received either by produ-cing the necessary Vouchers or refunding the balance to the Treasurer of the United States.
