Extract from Simmons regarding advances paid, but were not deducted from the annuity granted to the Stockbridge Indians. Monies are debited from the account of Dr. John Seargent, Indian Missionary. Simmons requests clarification of money classification (advance chargeable to yearly stipends or carried as debit of the contingencies of the Indian Department).
