In pursuance of a Resolution of the House of Representatives of 3^d March 1797 I am requested to lay before them within the first week in January next an abstract of the names of all receivers of Public monies from 1^st January 1791 to 1 January 1797. In order to prevent your name from appearing as a delinquent I have to request you will without delay account for the monies received by you by producing the necessary Vouchers or refunding the balance to the Treasurer of the United States.
