I enclose to your care the account Current of Lieut. Charles Martins in which is a Balance due the United States of Thirty nine Dollars & eighty nine Cents accompanied with a letter requesting him to refund that amount to you. this I wish [strikethrough: you] particularly you would get accomplished. as I am very desirous to close all the accounts I can prior to the first week in January next.
I wrote you by last mail enclosing letters to Abraham Kirkpatrick Esqr. and John [undecipherable] the subject of their accounts.
