As the office of Deputy Pay Master and Store-keeper in Tennessee has been vacated by the removal of M^r Hollis, I have, with the approbation of the President, appointed M^r Edward Knight, at present an inhabitant of Queen Ann's County in Maryland, to fill this vacancy. His Salary will be at the rate of Six Hundred dollars P^r annum, to commence on the first day of September ensuing.
