In pursuance of a Resolution of [the] House of Representatives of 3^d March 1797, I am p[repared] to lay before them within the first Week in Janua[ry next] an abstract of the names of all the receivers of p[ublic] monies from 1^st January 1791 to 1^st January 1797. In order to prevent your name fro[m ap-] pearing as a delinquent, I have to request you wil[l with-] out delay account for the monies you received by p[roducing] the necessary vouchers or refunding the balance to [the] Treasurer of the United States.
