In pursuance to a Resolution of the House of Representatives of 3 March 1797 I am required to lay before them within the first Week in January an abstract of the names of all receivers of Public mo— from 1 January 1791 to 1 January 1797. In order to prevent your name appearing as a delinquent I have to request you will without delay account for the monies received by you by producing the necessary Vouchers or refunding the same to the Treasurer of the United States Your immediate attention is par— ticularly requested.
