You stand charged on the Books of this Office with monies received by you and which you are to be accounted for.
In pursuance to a Resolution of the House of Representatives of 3 March 1797 I am required to lay before them within the first Week in January an abstract of the names of all receivers of Public mo[ney] from 1 January 1791 to 1 January 1797.
In order to prevent your nam[e] appearing as a delinquent I have to request you w[ill] without delay account for the monies received by you by producing the necessary Vouchers or refunding the [same] to the Treasurer of the United States
