In pursuance to a Resolve of the House of Representatives of 3^d March 1797. I am requested to lay before them within the first week in January next an abstract of the names of all receivers of Public Money from 1^st January 1791 to 1 January 1797. In order to prevent your name from appearing as a delinquent I have to request you will without delay, account for the monies you received either by paying the balances to the Treasurer of the United States or producing the necessary Vouchers.
