Inclosed I send you a return of the stores on hand and of those delivered the Overalls. the coats & Blankets were delivered by my self to two sick Soldiers that remained here from 95. also Mr Steeles receit for the medicine delivered by order of Col Butler and his order and receit for one Bbl of powder
Sir you are displeased with me about not sending you a return. I sent one Dated the first of last may which I hired the Driver of the Mail Stage to give it to you the mail was closed before I went in. the Drivers promised to take it to your Office for which I gave him half a Dollar. I will go to the City soon where I will see your self and satisfy you perfectly that I have not neglected your letters nor the business at this place. I am Sir with Esteem.
