I duly received your letter of [the] 11th Inst. enclosing sundry receipts for bounties paid [to] recruits agreeably to the list accompanying them [which] will be placed with those heretofore received.
a number of Muster Rolls h[ave] been examined, but do not find the name of James Lowry — it will be necessary that he informs to what Company or Detachment he was annexed when mustered by Colo Butler.
