enclosing the Muster & Pay Roll of the Recruits under [your]
command to the 31 July 1797, after adding forty nin[e cents]
short calculated on the Pay of James Plunkett a[nd]
deducting Sixty dollars for your own Pay hav[ing]
received it in advance, leaves the sum of One [hundred]
& ten dollars and fifty three cents which you will rece[ive of]
Nicholas Fish Esqr Supervisor, New York on giving
duplicate receipts holding yourself accountab[le for]
the due application of the same.
