I Certify that from a letter of the Comptroller dated the 4th Instant covering a receipt of John Habersham Collector of the Customs for Savannah in Georgia dated 1st July 1797 said Habersham has applied to the Incidental and Contingent expences of the War Department the sum of One hundred sixty eight dollars and sixty five cents which he has discounted out of the monies arising from Duties on Impost and Tonnage and for which he is accountable in pursuance of a Warrant to be issued in his favor by the Secretary of War to which said receipt is to be annexed agreably to the communication of the Comptroller.
