I received Capt Morris's Letter of enclosing Receipt Roll for June & Muster & Pay R[oll of] his Company for July 1797 the amount of the fo[rmer] will be passed to his Credit on the Books of this Office, [being] Three hundred Dollars & ninety eight Cents, you w[ill] receive the amount of the latter from John H[all] Supervisor Baltimore, being after acounting Capt M[orris's] pay which he received here and the pay of the five a[bsent] men receipted for in the June Receipt Roll Two hu[ndred] Thirty eight Dollars & Twenty three Cents for which [you] will give him the necessary receipts holding yours[elf] accountable for the due application of the sam[e]
