I have received your letter of the [undecipherable] enclosing [undecipherable] Dransy's certificate relative to artificer[s.] The Pay & Subsistence Rolls of th[e] of Artillirists & Engineers have been examined and right. Amounts to One thousand four hundred, ni[undecipherable] dollars and Sixty two cents which sum you will [undecipherable] as usual, from Nicholas Fish, Supervisor, New Y[undecipherable] giving him duplicate receipts for the due appli[undecipherable] thereof.
