I received your letter of the 17th Inst acknowledging the receipt of Twenty eight dollars and fifty seven Cents being amount of your Commissions on receiving and paying monies from this Department from 1 January 1796 to 30th June 1797 which letter will be considered as a sufficient Voucher and the amount entered accordingly. —
