The pay due the Estates of James W[illiams] William Williams and W^m Johnson late privates in th[e] Corps of A & E amounting to thirty five dollars 8⁷⁵/₁₀₀ will receive from James Read Esq^r Collector, Wilmington N[C] also the sum of thirty six dollars being the amoun[t of] Bounty paid and Premium allowed for inlisting th[e] recruits; on giving him duplicate receipts for each sum. The Pay of yourself and detachm[ent] for May and June 1797 amounting to Fifty six dollar[s will] be paid you and them, by the Collector as heretofore. a[s] as the sum of One hundred dollars for the recruiti[ng] service for which you will be held accountable.
