Sir
Last Evening I received via Presqu'isle a Packet from the Commander in chief addressed to you and which I have this Morning Sent forward to the War Office in charge of Robert McCrea who is instructed to push on to Phila— without a Moments delay. I have furnished him with 30 dollars but it is proba-ble he may want a further supply to enable him to return.
