I received your letter of the 25th Ulto enclosing an account of your Pay from 1st January to 30th June 1797 and Subsistence from 1st November 179[6] to 30th June 1797 both amounting to One hundred an[d] nine Dollars & fifty six cents which sum agreeably [to] your request is transmitted to Edward Carrington Supervisor at Richmond from whom you will receive [the] same on giving him duplicate receipts.
