War Office July 3^d 1791 The Secretary of War desires me to inform you [strikethrough: that] he meets obstacles in [strikethrough: two] the greater punctual performance of the expectation given in his Notice of the 2^d Instants to the Secretary of the Treasury that all the M. general Bounties shall be paid in the Regimental Months. The Ordnance Stores being at this [undecipherable] for Provisioning, and Masts Rigging to set prepared it is my opinion she will be considerably equated for sea by the end of this present, month it is therefore necessary that the guns should be ready by that time. It may be proper for M^r Hughes to state when the 46 Pounders will be ready for Receiving, that a proper person may be prepared to go on that Service at an early notice.
