I have received your several letters, namely, one of the 31 March — two the 17 April — one of the 3^d May. — One of the 19 May — One of the 26 May. — One of the 29 of May and one of the 2^d June 1797. and also their enclosures to wit: — A schedule of your payments from the 18 January to the 31 March — two [undecipherable] and I Barbee — an account Current of D^r Allison — an account Current of Major Hunt — a schedule of payments made by you from 3^d April to the 26 May, and the Affidavit of Mathew M^cPaul together with the Gazettes, for which, please to accept of my thanks. — I shall attend to the several objects urged in your letters, in every case within my power. I herewith return Doctor Allisons account Current with my observations thereon, and am sufficiently mortified at the discovery of having paid him 200.dollars more than was his due.
