Sir Fort Johnston July 1. 1797 I had the pleasure of receiving your letter of the 23 May 97 with an Order to Receive two months pay for the mon=ths of March & April 1797 amounting to Six Hundred & Ninety seven Dollars & Seven Cents. which I have paid and have here inclosed you the Receipt Roll for the same with the muster Rolls for the months of May and June which I hope you will find right and will Send you an Acc^t Current by the next post.
