Agreeably to the request of your letter of the 24^th instant I enclose a copy of my account as stated the 26^th of March 1796. At the transmission of the original of this account it was accompanied with vouchers for each of the specific charges. If the original should not be found on the files of your office, the vouchers probably may. If the source of the error you mention should be discovered, I would wish to be informed of it. It may be remarked that in stating this account, no reference was had to any sums received & disbursed previous to the receipt of the four hundred Dollars which was remitted in May 1795.
