Sir
I received your letter of the 19th Inst. enclosing Richard I Sutton's inlistment and receipts for 8 dollars on account of bounty.
You will be pleased to continue paying him in partial sums, the balance of bounty which he is intitled to, and transmit his receipts to this Office, when an examination will take place, and (provided the Recruit is regularly mustered) the amount of bounty paid, and premium allowed for inlisting him will be refunded you.
I am &c.
