Sir I received your letter of the 20th Instant enclosing a receipt of bounty paid to Thomas Brown which will be placed with those already sent. Enclosed is a letter for Captain Lyman enclosing one hundred Dollars on account of his pay, which i have directed him to deliver his receipts soon to you, you will be pleased on your delivering him the money to foward his Receipts to this office by different conveyances, I enclose you the receipts to be signed. Signed- I am vc. Wm. simmons acct.
