I received your letter of the 15th Instant enclosing the Pay Roll of the detatchment Statd at West Point for the service of the Ordnance Department for the months of April & May 1st amounting to thirty eight dollars & nineteen Cents which sum you will receive from Nicholas Fish Supervisor, New York on giving him the necessary receipts for the same holding yourself account-able for the due application thereof.
