I received your letter of the 12th Apri[l] enclosing your [underline: Subsistence] account up to 21 Marc[h] which upon examination has been found to be erron[undecipherable] stated as you charge one day more than the period you charge this years rations at last years price [undecipherable] the contract price at Niagara for the present yea[r] 18¾ cents ℗ ration, these differences corrected lea[ve] the sum of One hundred and fifty four dollars seventy six cents in your favor which sum is [re]mitted by this conveyance and for which you be pleased to grant the necessary receipts.
