I received yours dated the 6th June 1797 and have only to observe, that I have Inlisted several Men since the last Settlement with Mr Swan and shall [as soon as the nature of the [undecipherable] will admit] go to Detroit and make a final tlement, The soldiers terms of [undecipherable] are expiring fast, and tis probable I may Inlist two more, which, together with those I have already and three dollars, will ballance the account of one hundred and Eleven dollars which remained in my hands at Last Settlement —
