Pensacola June 12^th 1797. Sir, Since closing my dispatch of the 7^th Instant I have been informed that a trusty mesenger will leave Savannah for this place on the 1^st day of September and that your answer if sent to the care of Messrs Fairdasers and Mitchell direct to Savannah will meet a speedy conveyance. In the interval I shall return to New Orleans and if I should find it absolutely necessary perhaps to some of the Neighboring tribes of Indians but will be at this place again in time to receive your answer I have the honor to be very respectfully Yours Obedient Servant John M.
