L^t Nehemiah Freeman                  Accountants Off[ice] Temporary Paymaster                    June 9^th 1797     West Point     State of New York     Sir [enclosing]     I received your letter of the 20^th [ult?] enclosing a list of balances of bounty said to be due to five men in Cap^t McKee's Company which men do not appear on any of the documents in this Office     Cap^t Miller shall be written to, respecting the man said to be inlisted by him, and you made acquainted with his answer in course.     Lieu^t Wilson has lately transmitted an abstract of balances of bounty due his raco[n?] whereon the name of William Walker does not ap-pear.     I am &c                                      W^m Simmons                                         Acc^t
