I have recieved your letter of the 7th & 9th Instant, the sum mentioned I have received of John Chester Esquire— I have enclosed you a Recruiting account, from the 8th day of July 1796 to the 28th day of March 1797 Inclusive, with the receipts attending it. you will see the somes paid, the Batence due, each Recruit— [strikethrough: I also enclose you a]
Receed for Bounty signed Joseph Blossom for five Dollars— If you would wish to have me forward the remainder of my receepts to your office, you well please to signify— Blossom had a fair discharge signed by Majr J. H. Buell, but he might have [undecipherable: enlisted] a member of times at diferent Randeyous, if you Discover any thing, I will thank you to informe me, as that is fequently the case—
